Rolex manufactured Ref3529 in a very limited series between 1939 and 1942, a time when rectangular and square watches were very fashionable. At the time of its production, this was the smallest chronograph wristwatch available by this or any firm. The vast majority of vintage chronograph watches were manufactured in circular cases and the Ref3529 remains one of the very few square cased chronograph models ever made. the pink gold case is two-body, polished and brushed, sharp angles, domed crystal with straight lugs. pink gold dial with painted Roman numerals and indexes. Baton black steel hands. M. Cal. 10 1/2 ''' rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring...
